Based on the Lyra Davidica Easter Hymn 1708, same as "Christ the Lord Is Risen Today" but with different lyrics. Scored for Two Trumpets in Bb, Trombone, Descant, SATB and/or Congregation, and Organ with optional Timpani. Performance 4 minutes. Events: Easter services. The choir carries the usual harmonization with support from the organ, a descant on the last verse, and added embellishments by the brass. The brass parts are scored for intermediate instrumentalists.
